Toledo Christian Academy (TCA) is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian school serving grades Pre-Kindergarten through Standard VI, with an additional small enrollment of students at the high school level. It is governed by an independent board of directors composed of members based in both Belize and the USA.

The school uses the A-Beka Book curriculum (www.abeka.com), which is a God-centered, American-based study program, internationally used and respected. Additional Belizean materials are supplemented where necessary, especially for teaching national history and culture.

Class sizes are small, typically 15 students per class, with an annual enrollment of approximately 100 students.

The teaching and administrative staff is composed mainly of Belizeans, with a few Americans, some of whom live in housing located on the TCA grounds. All staff members are Christians with a commitment to Christian missions work.

TCA was started in 1994 when Toledo Church and Bible Training Center stepped out in faith and began a primary school with only 22 students. Today, the school serves pre-school through to high school and many have come to know the Lord  through its work.

Thanks to the prayers and financial support of our sponsors, the students are able to learn and become productive citizens, growing in their knowledge of God. It is only in partnership with people  like you that we can fulfill the Lord’s calling and make a difference in the lives of these children, who in turn impact their families and villages.
